This is to advise you that KYOCERA ELCO Corporation (President: Yoji Date) has decided to change the name as follows, effective April 1, 2012. Currently,
with sales outside of Japan making up roughly 60% of the company's consolidated sales, the Kyocera Group is expanding its wide-ranging global business which
covers the provision of materials, components, devices and services. In order to further enhance recognition of its business in the global market, the following
name change has been decided upon which combine the KYOCERA brand name along with a description of our main business.
